Well the NBC late night drama saga has ended, for now at least. Conan OBrien had his last Tonight Show last night. If you missed Conans last show and final monologue, never fear I have Conan OBriens final monologue video below. After weeks of will he stay will he go, Conan has said goodbye to The Tonight Show and lets just say he did not disappoint in his final show, especially when it came to his final Tonight Show monologue. From his jokes about really having to go, to having Tilda Swinton play him in an HBO movie, Conan kept...

Wow, Neil Young, Conan and NBC really missed the boat for a great comic opportunity tonight on Conan's last show by NOT having Neil Young sing "Pants on the Ground", a la Jimmy's impression of Neil doing the same a couple of nights ago. Very sad and missed insight...IMO. (I was truly shocked when it Did Not happen)... And it's all NBCers. :-(=

Conan vs Leno solution, NBC broadcast 2 "Tonight Shows" via HD digital subchannels, an a conspiracy plot? OK this is a vanity post... and it's just for fun... but is the Conan vs Leno "Tonight Shows" feud a manufactured ploy by NBC for using digital subchannels? I could care less about Conan or Leno as I dont watch either... but I am a techno geek so I like solutions and I think I have see one that may be comming I also follow the politics and the fighting between the broadcast Networks and the cable companies during the long tortured...

Conan O'Brien staffers are furious that they're losing their "Tonight Show" jobs while O'Brien walks away from the fiasco with $30 million, sources tell Page Six. About 200 of O'Brien's production team, who last year uprooted from New York to Los Angeles for his show, are fuming that they've been overlooked as Conan negotiates his way out of NBC. "The production team feels betrayed," one source said. "They don't understand why Conan couldn't have just agreed to move the show to 12:05 a.m. and see how things turn out, which would have allowed them all to keep their jobs. But...

NBC has its way out of the Conan Crisis. The network has agreed to pay O'Brien $30 million to vacate the 11:35 p.m. "Tonight Show,"... Guarantee or no? As TheWrap previously reported, Team Conan was insisting that NBC has breached O'Brien's contract because, it argued, the deal had a timeslot guarantee. NBC's response: No, there is no such guarantee of a specific timeslot for "Tonight." So as long as we keep something called "The Tonight Show" on the air, there is no breach. If NBC had been in breach, it would have owed Conan around $40 million (and as much...

BREAKING NEWS! EXCLUSIVE! 9TH UPDATE, FRIDAY 7 AM: I can confirm that Team Conan reassembled in Los Angeles last night, and O'Brien's reps are still "figuring out how to settle" but at the same time still lobbying NBCU chief Jeff Zucker to keep Conan as host of The Tonight Show. Their negotiations continued with NBC. Unlike the network which wants a resolution by end of today, the agents-lawyers-managers are in no hurry to accept what NBC is offering to end this late night crisis and the resulting PR nightmare. Team Conan is banking on it getting worse, not better, with...

This is Train Wreck Comedy. Jay Leno had Jimmy Kimmel was on his show for the 10 @ ten segment. The move was obviously designed to throw Kimmel off his stride as the ABC late night host did an imitation of Leno the night before. Instead of being intimidated Kimmel was the aggressor, his humor was uncomfortably brutal at times. Like when Jay asked him what's the meanest practical joke he ever played on someone and Kimmel answered, "I promised someone that I would give them my show in five years and then I gave it to them and then...
